My Day began in Santiago, Chile and now ending in Durazno, Uruguay. I was greeted at the airport by Paul, Jo Anna, Felicia, and Sophia. It was neat to meet the baby, and she even had some smiles for me.
Sorry, this is short, but the travel is catching up a bit.....

Play time!!
Monday, we walked over to the Stadium and park that is very close to their home.
The kids & I even had a great workout time.
Tuesday found us heading for the beach. The sun came out and we frolicked in the COLD Pacific Ocean waves.
I am thankful to have this time with the Flinck family. I appreciate their hospitality and warmth in their home to welcome me to Chile!

Sunday church/ Domingo iglesia
Outside of the church after evening service
Sunday was a wonderful day of worship. Truly a bit challenging for me as it was in a different language, but I enjoyed it just the same.

I enjoyed the enthusiasm with which the Chilean greet one another, everyone the same. Very refreshing. I did recognize the tunes of a couple of the songs, but let's just say I need to learn how to read music in Spanish--David leaned over and said, "Turn the page". I wasn't used to a song going onto the next page! :-)
It's also a joy to see how the people are so loving to the children and myself as a new comer. I was even welcomed in the middle of the service--not that I completely understood what they were saying, but it was quite obvious when Julio said Americano and I could feel almost everyone's eyes find me, and they all laughed. :-)
Thanks for letting me be a part of the 21 Mayo Iglesia.

Camp Time
I awakened refreshed this morning having slept over 8 hours!!! We had pancakes for breakfast, and then took a car trip. We drove to Lican Ray the camp where Liz & Dan Thompson, Kristi's brother, are along with the 4 children.
I was shown around the grounds and was able to see how their camp functions. Very cool for me.

Arrival
There is no I in Temuco, but there is a ME! :-) Hee Hee Hee.
I left Minneapolis on Thursday afternoon, flew to Dallas and overnight flew to Santiago. After customs and international policia, I flew further down to Temuco! Kristi & Kaylee were waiting inside to greet me after getting my HEAVY bag, that surprisingly didn't cost any extra! Thanks, God! I have since unloaded several goodies at the Flincks. We had a lovely lunch, and now looking forward to supper. Isn't that great fellowship, FOOD!?! :-)
It was rainy when I touched down, but since has turned partly sunny. Looking forward to more chatting this evening. Thanks for your prayers! I'll let you know more of my exciting adventures once I get caught up on some sleep, or maybe I'll catch up sleep in late April!!!
Chao!!!
