So, wow. I mean whoops. It's been a while since I posted. I hope to do better this year. Have to see about that.
Sometimes life just gets busy, or I just let things get out of whack. I've been trying to keep up on correspondence, but that isn't really happening very well. Maybe I can work on that for 2011.

Donation

So, last Saturday I got my hair cut. Ended up with12 inches off. I donate my hair, usually to Locks of Love.

Later that afternoon, I went to see the Grandmas. Violet celebrated her 89th birthday last week. Both noticed my shorn locks.

Last Dinner

On Tuesday night last week, I met with Joy, Job, Juern & Helen at Olive Garden, yum yum. Joy flew to Peru the next day. I pray her journey and stay goes well.

Yeah, a weird title, but it fits my week. At class, that was the number I got! I am happy, but just want to keep pressing on. No, I guess I don't really have a FINAL number that I want to get to, but we will see how it goes.
The drawback is that I do need to go shopping. And I am not a girlie girl who likes to shop, so for me it will be a chore. I did buy one new item of clothing at the Wild Game last week -- a white jersey.

October already

Howdy from Howie.
How are things with you? I realize I haven't posted for a while...I guess September went by fast. I don't think I did much....well, ok, maybe I did.

Let's see. Did you hear about Katie & Clark at the MN State fair? My 12 year niece went to the great Minnesota get together, her first year in 4H that she was eligible. Clark won his class and weight. So then she got in to the Grand Champion round. She & Clark won Reserve Grand Champion Dairy Steer. She was positively glowing all weekend ( and her dad was pretty excited too.) If you didn't see pictures on Facebook, let me know...
That same weekend, I was blessed to spend time with my cousins and "elderly aunt" at the Twins game vs Texas. I know Woody enjoyed it, so I decided to take him to another game for his birthday. We went to the game vs KC on Saturday Oct 3. Yep, one of the exciting games on the way to a (hopefully) division title. We also got a few pictures with former Twins greats...yeah, I have a FEW pictures of that as well. But right now, my computer is not letting me upload them or email them...so I guess that will be a while.
In September, I was able to go to the Ladies Retreat at IRBC. Yes, a good time, but also a bit challenging when the memories come over me....How many years I was blessed to attend with my mother...So now it's October...where did the summer go........What's happening with you? Keep in touch!!
